Our Training Classrooms

Little Paws Ferret Rescue has developed a range of Google Classroom training aimed at increasing awareness about ferrets as a species, how to handle them safely and what do do in an emergency.

These training resources are targeted at individual owners, volunteers for the ferret rescues nation wide, veterinary surgeons and nurses that deal with ferret ferrets, animal handlers and anyone generally interested in learning about ferrets as a species.

We will endeavour to add further training courses as required.

These courses are free to access and can be used as CPD for animal health professionals. All that we ask is that you do not replicate any of the material within the training unless permission is granted from the rescue and if you share the classrooms please share from the web page as it helps the rescue to promote our website.

Little Paws Ferret Rescue is dedicated to raising awareness of ferrets, good ferret care and better medical knowledge within the animal care profession. As such we are involved in research and lobbying to ensure that all vets and owners understand these cheeky chaps better.

We believe that there should be easier access to neutering and ferret savvy vets throughout the UK.

If you would like to get involved in our lobbying group then contact us at Little Paws Ferret Rescue and we will give you more information.
